1. Hate to spoil the news but this is a little insider's game played by both sides

They both know where this ends up. Boehner and Obama already know the deal they will end up with -- maybe not to the exact word. but pretty darned close. Everything you are watching is just Kabuki theater to give Americans the illusion that there is actually a real debate.

That ain't how it works in the Beltway.

As scripted as a professional rasslin match.

Oh, sorry. I guess I wasn't supposed to spill the beans on that one either.

4. Trust me, everybody is aware of the phenomenon you have "revealed".

That does not make John Boehner an honest man.

that we have a system of democracy -- a government representative of the people.

6. Perhaps, but that has nothing to do with the OP

The OP was about Little Johnny being a lying sack of shit. When you take a specific point and attempt to re-frame the topic as part of a more general one, the impact of the specific point gets diminished. Perhaps another thread would be a good place to make your point.

7. Yes it does. Obama and Boehner are in the same company.

They are just different characters in a drama that is well funded and well scripted.

You can disagree with me. That's OK with me.

You said Boehner is a lying sack of shit. I said both he and Obama are just actors playing roles for the entertainment of the public. The big decisions are always made in secret and have essentially been agreed months ago.

13. You don't own this thread or any other thread.

If you have a point to make, then make it. If others have observations, they are free to offer those observations. That's the way it works.

Based on the number of posts (almost none other than mine and yours), few think your point was all that interesting. I would have thought you might appreciate somebody showing some interest.

10. Very nice...you defend Boehner with the old "both sides do it" bullshit

FYI - 45 republicans and Diane Feinstein does not equal bipartisan.

Peddle the RW BS somewhere else.
