Sitting on a deal.

I wonder if the moderates of both parties have already worked out a deal. They might be waiting until the last minute so that it will be easier for people to swallow. A deal that would seem like a horrible capitulation a few weeks ago will look more palatable if it arrives just hours before the so called cliff.

But it wasn't the "moderates" who worked it out. Decisions of this type are always driven by the unelected government -- the banksters. Just look at how many people with Goldman pedigrees are all over the top tiers of government. That isn't because they have a calling for the civic duty. It is because they run things, period.

All this "fiscal cliff" bullshit is just kabuki theater to give Obama and Boehner the cover they need to make this happen.

Nothing will happen until after Boehner gets reelected as Speaker on Jan 3. And Obama would much rather deal with a drunk Boehner than Cantor or one of the other insane teabaggers, so Obama does his part of the dance.

We are screwed. We have always been screwed.
