Secretive George Zimmerman escape plot revealed in court documents

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/dec/28/george-zimmerman-escape-plan-court
<snip>
An extraordinary movie-like plot to move accused murderer George Zimmerman into hiding disguised in a hat and fake glasses has come to light, courtesy of a private investigator's legal attempts to recoup $27,000 in unpaid security bills.

A lawsuit filed in Florida by an Orlando security company gives a detailed account of the secretive "jail escort plan" Zimmerman's lawyers commissioned to spirit away the man who shot and killed teenager Trayvon Martin once he was released from prison on bail.

According to court documents, armed bodyguards from Associated Investigative Services (AIS) were to meet Zimmerman at the Seminole County jail and dress him in body armour before speeding him off in a rental vehicle previously checked for hidden GPS tracking devices.

Then, Zimmerman's handlers were to deliver him to the disabled bathroom of a busy hotel in Orlando where he would dress in a new shirt, hat and glasses before casually walking out to a different vehicle and being driven to a safe house.

and the public square be renamed forever Trayvon Martin corner.

It is obvious he knows he is guilty or he wouldn't do this

There should be no place in America safe for killings by private hand on the streets of America with a gun.

vigilantism and anarchy are not allowed.

and I am juror #8
case closed.

and Florida has the death penalty, and this is 1st degree murder.

He was told to stand down and get back to his car
(which showed his life was NOT in danger of anything)

he ignored orders and acted as judge/jury/executioner for whatever twisted reason.

won't lose a nights sleep if he is found guilty and executed.

and I am sure he would have no friends in prison anyhow.

When the 911 operator instructs you to stay in your automobile and wait for police to arrive then you have no right to any sort of "stand your ground" defense when you do exactly the opposite of what REAL law enforcement officials tell you to do.

Maybe you did get a bloodied nose and some scrapes. You're going to have to explain how that didn't happen as a matter of Trayvon defending himself from some over zealous cop want-to-be that approached with absolutely no authority to stop or question Trayvon but with a gun.

All the news stories have seemed to overlook Trayvon Martin's right to defend himself. So what if he tackled Zimmerman and caused him scrapes and a bloody nose? Zimmerman was not law enforcement. He had no authority to detain or question Trayvon Martin. The 911 operator clearly told Zimmerman to wait for REAL law enforcement but he did not. All Trayvon must have known was there was this non-uniformed person attacking him who could clearly not identify himself as a police officer.

So if he fought Zimmerman then exactly how is that wrong in context of self-defense?

That headline is very misleading.

It was about supposed death threats they were dodging when he was let out on bail.

This is not needed. Zimmerman is wretched enough already. We do not need to make shit up.

What was described was a death threat they imagined from who knows.

There may have been some thoughts Zimmerman had to flee before arrest.

These things are the trophies the right wing hoists when trying to demonstrate a bias in liberal media.

That headline is very biased and misleading.

It is going to be posted to social media everywhere before people read through it.

Most people probably didn't read through it.

The conservatives will read through it though. If this is not used as a battle flag of the right as an example of how misleading the "left wing media" is.

Damn right in this case.

sure he has a lot of bills, his Dad is a retired state judge and got him the best in legal connections. He got hundreds of thousands in 'donations' from his paypal website..that will pay those hired help. people are probably still clicking that paypal button and throwing money at him.

The escape plot story probably is spun from zimmermans passport that he did make jail phone calls with his wife about. He had his wife hide his current passport and gave the court an expired passport.

He may have been planning to leave the country, his mom is colombian. There is no other proof of flight except the deception about the passport and the jail-recorded calls.

The Judge punished his wife, she is charged with lies to the court and the Judge got the real passport so Z can not leave the country now.
