Do any Repubs you know acknowledge they LOST in Nov and therefore should act accordingly?

WTF do repubs think happened on November 6th?

I'm not suggesting we deserve 100% of what we want on the cliff deal, though clearly we won on a mandate to raise the tax rate on the top 2%. The Tea Party wackos in Congress are completely ignoring the election results. John Boehner can't get them to budge an inch, so by default he letting them get away with telling the American electorate to fuck off.

The MSM continues to push the meme that the 2 sides can't come together, when clearly they should be asking the pukes if they watched the election results last month!

Do any of your repub co-workers, friends, or family acknowledge they lost the election so therefore (even grudgingly) they should compromise MORE than the Dems because We The People said so?!

they can't live with OR do anything to remedy it, like doing the right thing so they might be re-elected in '14. We MUST be sure they are NOT re-elected.

Lets hope in '14 the people will remember what selfish idiots they are and kick their ass outta Congress.

"We have had a national debate. We have voted. We have had the accountability moment. Now is the time for all good Americans to rally around our leader and our country."

That'll make an angry white male even angrier.

Even though he just squeaked by -- and wouldn't have won without the shenanigans in Ohio -- he strutted around claiming a mandate, and saying he didn't have to explain anything to anyone because he had just had "an accountability moment."

"Elections have consequences," is my favorite reply, along with, "You watch way too much Fox News!"

If the Democrats lost, I would expect nothing less than uncompromising struggle on their part. "The cliff" isn't so bad at all. It provides better means to fund the services that people want, and cuts the relative size of the defense budget. Sounds good to me.
