figures that MSNBC wouldn't broadcast that debate, nor any other network.

Senator Harry Reid is giving a speech blaming the House Republicans for the fiscal cliff stuff.

Following are Quotes from Senator Reid:

"Its none of my business if any of them are even talking. What is going on here?"

"Mr. President, you can't legislate with yourself. ... The Republicans in the House have left town.... The negotiations have fallen down just like they have for the last three years....."

"Plenty of votes to do stuff, but Republican co-sponsors walk away. Months of talks between the President and Boehner, but Boehner can't deliver because of Grover Norquist. Cantor can't deliver."

It is always nice to see how it works, but very "sausage making" if you know what I mean.

Still from Senator Reid:

"They don't want to compromise. The Speaker and the Republican Leaders can always come to the President, but they won't."

Still quoting:

"The people have voted for the status quo. The President called me and others last night, and we don't have many days left. I'm willing to enter into discussion."

"The action, if there is any, is on the Senate side, and we'll have to see if we can move forward on a bi-partisan basis."

Back to Senator Reid:

"Chris Wallace (on the Sunday shows) pressed the Republicans "would you filibuster" and they won't answer."

"We can't negotiate with ourselves. We can't get anything done. We've done everything - we've done one, two and three, but we can't get past Grover Norquist. We have to have revenue. Grover and the boys said "no" to even the people who make more than a million, but Boehner couldn't even bring that to a vote..."

"Meanwhile, they are out of town, and they won't come back."

They haven't moved one inch from their position of no taxes on anyone, not millionaires or billionaires or anybody. He is lying his ugly ass off.

(Still quoting)

Lessons learned and a big WTF. Both sides (including the Republicans) have to give. "The Republicans have to give on revenue, and the Super Committee refused to agree."

"Social Security doesn't belong on the table. Medicaid is critically important."

Okay, I'm done. We all know this.
