My Christmas gift for computer users.

Last edited Tue Dec 25, 2012, 05:37 PM - Edit history (1)

If you use your computer into the night time when you should be asleep, you might benefit from this little add-on.

It helps protect your eyes and your day-night hormone rhythm by changing the RYG ratios of your monitor to the day-night cycle based on your latitude and longitude.

I find it gives my eyes a break when looking at the screen late at night. Maybe you will too.

I have no relationship with these people, just like the app. And it's free.

Merry Christmas.

Very strange lighting on Linux Mint 14. Not sure Ill get used to it.

A few weeks ago I watched a CBC documentary about artificial lighting links to various cancers, which freaks me out since I work mostly at night. This is cool.

You can tweak the warmth and brightness, at least on the iOS app.

Softening the light & removing the blues at night is critical for keeping your cycles in check

But Your phone needs to be jailbroken. Turning down the blues on my phone for night viewing is the best use of this app for sure

My screen adjusted and ... I'm getting sleepy already!

But seriously, thank you! I've been having trouble sleeping lately and have always read that all of the artifical light goofs wih our sleep cycles. I am on the computer usually until I go to bed, so this could really help! Thanks!

:ight level is important as I've had to use UV lamps to ward off the effect of our short days in the Pacific northwest. I really appreciate this, it's amazing!
