ever since I sang it with my university's choir 45+ years ago.

"And the Glory of the Lord Shall Be Revealed"--it just doesn't get any better than that.

Handel surely knew how to fashion the human voice into a divine instrument.

A blessed season to you!

I've loved it since I sang it with my high school choraleers 50+ years ago. Just had a reunion, and some of us hummed a few bars!

I sang that every year in college and not since. I'm not of the Christian persuasion but it is a powerful thing to perform something like that, no matter what you believe in. I considered it to be a massive and powerful form of prayer, everyone breathing and making such beautiful sounds in synchronicity. Thanks for the post! Brings up fond memories.

Happy holidays.

I'm not Christian either, Jewish family tradition > agnostic, but music is an essential element of my life. Sang Messiah in high school.
