According to First Look, Ann Romney actually did force Mitt to run...

I never bought into the whole "Queen Ann" meme, but wow...apparently she pretty much herded him into it even though according to Tagg he never really wanted to.

Her:

"I was the first one to say this time, you have to do this again. Yes it was going to be painful, yes it was going to be hard, yes we might fail, but we HAD to go forward."

"Romney is retroactively NOT running for president..."

Once again, they don't see the implications of their own statements: if Mitt's really so easily pushed into such a high-level endeavor as running for president... then he has no business being president. If you want to know what can happen when an occupier of the Oval Office abdicates responsibility to advisors, look no further than the one who went by "Dubya".

Ann's input may have been the last little bit that made the decision go one way or the other, but but he was at least nearly all the way there on his own, or else it wouldn't even have been a consideration.

This isn't just putting lipstick on a pig, it's full blown plastic surgery.

That's about the only difference I see. Ann failed to reach her goal, Lady M succeeded in reaching hers.
