actually, in all seriousness, a big part of the problem with guns is the attitude that some people are bad and others are good. people automatically include themselves in the "good" category, of course, and the attitude lapierre voices is that there are times when it's appropriate to use guns to kill "bad people".

so the problem then is that many people are not capable or socially responsible enough to accurately identify good people vs. bad people and especially situations where killing may actually appropriate in society's view.

guns make it much easier for their errors in judgement to have lethal consequences.
