2. thanks, Manny. I did end up on the wrong petition . . . started out on the right one, though

I had so much trouble finding the 'sign the petition' link that I backtracked and ended up on the other petition.

I finally got back the one you and ProSense recommended and got my sig in.

Thanks again for the heads up. Thanks for your SS posts, as well (not the snarky one about Obama's lifetime dream or something like that).

5. I've made at least 8 attempts on this petition, here and on M and P's post.

The first petition ever, for which I wasn't able to sign in to my white house petition site account to add my name. Fails over and over, for me.

6. I just clicked over and over again

on and around this paragraph:

Signatures needed by January 17, 2013 to reach goal of 25,000

. . . and it eventually registered. I didn't even see a 'sign here' button.

Try and go into your browser and delete the cookies for the WH petition page and then sign in.
