When people say that (god in school...) they are really just telling the world that they think those kids got what they deserved. Same with hurricanes, earthquakes, etc., and other victims of mass shootings
People like that enjoy projecting an image of a vengeful deity because it falls into line with their own feelings. (Either get in line with my religion/way of thinking or get what you deserve)
They relish those deaths.
