The guns are all ready out there.
If feels sort of hopeless. I don't want to be afraid, but when we say this could happened to any one of us, it all ready has.

(11,464 posts)let the collectors keep theirs in their house privately
make all guns in street not allowed
then treat any gun in street as a terror weapon and fight it as the war on terror
forget control as in the past. Reframe entirely
and treat the NRA like a terror group. freeze their assets and the million dollar lobby suits with soundbytes galore.
reframe makes it possible
and elect Vicky Kennedy to replace the departing John Kerry in the senate
and seize the moment
the time is now.
This is spreading viral as the kids say and the spark is now lit.
The NRA reign of terror is soon going to be over

I bet you cannot find a majority of Democratic senators/house to ban gun possession.

and again, no one is calling for a ban.
Collectors can collect
Shooting galleries can rent for the day at the gallery
and bow and arrow is used for hunting
and within 6 years, ALL of congress will be up for reelection
Mike Bloomberg's mom lived to be 100.
Mike Bloomberg will support ALL candidates against guns/NRA and beat their money
therefore, the only reason you can't find a senator now is they are afraid of the NRA
well, they no longer have a reason
yap all you want about things you don't like about Mike, they are irrelevant to this
(and soon he can devote ALL his time to this as his term is over and he isn't running for anything
I would name him Homeland Security chief, but he can just as easily apply his work without the title (but he would easily win confirmation by both sides if asked for the post, and if he needs confirmation, not sure as this is a new post)
Logical
(22,457 posts)300 million guns are out in public hands unless you get rid of all the guns.
