It even tweeted a joyful graphic (at right).
A day after the killings, however, the NRA's Facebook went missing in action. It cannot be found on the social network. The disappearance was first noted on the USA Carry pro-gun bulletin board.
The move occurred at the same time as the NRA's Twitter stream went silent -- and suffered a barrage of whithering tweets from critics.

There is other mention here from yesterday : http://www.democraticunderground.com/10021985322#post6 The NRA page mentioned there remains and I would have said that is their official site : just key in NRA on FB to find - its got just under 30,000 likes.
The link in the Business Insider article simply goes to FB's homepage. As far as I'm aware only FB themselves could shut down a member and withhold all info.

(1,201 posts)The best post on DU during this whole tragedy was from the member who suggest that NRA President Wayne La Pierre should personally have to dig the graves with his bare hands. The NRA has long since stopped being an organization dedicated to protecting the 2nd Amendment and become an anti-government cult of conspiracy nuts who are more like anarchists.
