where's there's little danger of her needing to disarm a "troubled teen." But teachers aren't supposed to have the level of occupational hazard that firefighters or combat soldiers or cops do!

That Teachers have to be just as worried about being shot and killed as a convenience store clerk. I don't think teachers thought that they were signing up for this, and even then, they don't deserve to have to risk their lives just to teach the children of America.

My eldest teaches K-6. Days like this make us proud of all teachers, and aware of how little support they get.
