With all the words being thrown about to describe this abomination, how about "EVIL"?

Sometimes the word needs be dusted off and used and I can hardly think the murder of children being anything other than plain evil.

The act is evil. Is the person? We don't know right now. It'll be a while before we do know.

... that is pretty simplistic.

Evil.

No need to examine and explain that our culture, our politics may have some influence on these events?

Just 'pure evil'?

So it can all just be laid-off on this 'lone gunman'?
