Life is so precious and is taken so easily. Overlook the struggles, the issues, the distances and be happy they are alive and there to receive it.

I just got done mowing the lawn completely immersed in thinking about today's tragedy. Of course there is no sense to make of it. We humans hold life sacred, then seem to forget it quickly - politicians send people into meaningless wars, our bodies get abused in so many ways, we mistreat each other, we fight, we kill.

With such high emotion, it is so easy for me to just be angry. For all of us, I suspect. But for now, while I try to work it through, I am going to just hug and be happy to be around those close to me grasp on to their presence for today.
