More and more we're all about 1-step away from knowing someone...

who is connected to one of these mass shootings.

I just read where a DUer has a co-worker whose kids go to that school in CT.

When I drive home to visit my parents I pass nearby the Amish School at West Nickel Mines near Lancaster PA.

My friend's parents shop at the mall where there was a shooting in Old Bridge NJ

The first signicant one we all remember was the one in Columbine HS in Colorado. To me seeing that happen was so sureal and I could never think of that happening where I live.

Now it just seems it's another week and another psycho or kid with guns decides to go shoot-'em up at a location that has plenty of human-targets for shooting practice.

It's not the guns, the guns don't kill people. It's the people who get access to these guns who somehow manage to get one through loopholes in our gun safety laws.

I have no problem with law abiding citizens owning guns provided they make sure they properly learn how to use them and keep them safe from children. But the GOP just wants to make gun laws weaker and turn their backs on these gun shootings. Shame on them - SHAME!

And two of his brothers have fallen asleep in deer stands, fallen out, and broken their necks.
