My question to you is this. Do you only care about winning debates and your right to bear arms or does the killing of innocent children give you pause to maybe consider the point that gun violence in this country is getting to the point of unacceptable levels.

People pull this crap every single time.

Mass shooting ---> "Oh, don't talk about it NOW... a little respect!!!" ---> anyone brings it up later? Immediate and vociferous denial that there's any problem to be addressed and discussion shouted down.

We truly need to find a way to stop massacres like this from happening. You can't stop this conversation just because you don't like where it's taking place.

Nor will it be. It will be discussed generally, and not just on this website. Right now, the discussion is primarily in GD, where you posted. You can join those discussions or not. That's your choice.
