are you guys going to still hate on President Obama and the party or will you get out and turn out the vote like we did in 2012. Personally, I say we get over this hate and anger towards the President and turn out in force in the mid-terms. Beat these Republican trolls at their own game. Whose with me on this?

(22,143 posts)The President needs to convince all those people that came out in 08 and 12 just to vote for him that voting for Democrats in the midterms is the same as voting for him. Otherwise 2010 happens again.

(46,179 posts)I'll vote for the best left-of-center candidate on my ballot. If there is a candidate worth supporting, I'll support him or her. If not, I won't.
Obama is irrelevant to the process.
As far as "hate and anger" go, I don't hate, period. It's a self-destructive thing.
Anger? I'll let go of the anger with Obama when he fires Arne Duncan, appoints an actual educator to be Sec. of Ed., and dumps his education deforms, instituting authentic, supportive policies.
I won't be holding my breath, but it's always possible.
