My production co is repped by 4 unions. I don't give a damn what illegal shit the Repubs do in Lansing - I will not obey this law.

Michael Moore ?@MMFlint
You want the "right" not to join the union? Fine. Then I want u to cancel your health ins, work every wknd and reduce your pay to $5 an hour

7 Dec Michael Moore ?@MMFlint
Let's be clear: You do NOT have the right to enjoy the great pay & benefits the union fought for unless u join the friggin' union.

7 Dec Michael Moore ?@MMFlint
Repubs gerrymandered our state like political serial killers. Their goal was 2 snuff out the will of the people. Did the Dems sue 2 stop it?

7 Dec Michael Moore ?@MMFlint
Obama won Michigan by TEN points. So why are Repubs running the show in Lansing? Cause WE failed to run the right candidates to defeat them.

But I am thrilled to see Progressives across the country now uniting in a huge and growing Coalition with other groups, the Unions eg, and advocacy groups for the elderly, to stop the destruction of the Middle Class and to support Labor.

For a while, Progressives were being marginalized in this party, but they are no longer willing to be pushed aside and have said so. There is strength in numbers and I always felt if people united, WE would be in control of our own party, rather than the Third Way/DLC and Corporations.

I think this is now beginning to happen.

I'm sure the anti-Labor people hate MM. And I'm sure he cares about that hatred as much as he cares what George Bush thinks of him.

because I don't even know where to begin. I'm extremely pro-union and from a union family, yet live in an anti-union area. What's the difference? Income-wise, about $7.00 an hour less than what a union job makes.

I have the stats from the job I was just laid off from-our non union plant made about $14.00 an hour to start while a union plant with the same company in another state made nearly $21.00 an hour to start. I've just learned not to argue it around my town because it'll either a) fall on deaf ears or b) start an even bigger argument about how the union is evil.

Beatdowns by Corporate America's Army of Thugs send messages much louder than "life's not fair", apparently.

And a conservaGov laughs his ass off before signing this worker-screwing piece of garbage into law.

Turn your fucking badges in and wear your corporate logos PROUDLY.

1. How obviously coordinated it is. The efforts of various governors around the country on this issue are practically choreographed.

2. How doggedly the leadership of our own party ignores it. Yes, they might offer a remark here or there if pressed, but I've seen not a glimpse of those infamous "comfortable shoes".

decided to caucus with the Republicans in order to, as they said, 'keep things balanced'.

See here: 2 Blue Dogs causus with Republicans handing Washington Senate to the GOP

Are they traitors to the Party, or are they just doing their job?

As George Carlin said and now I get it: It's all Bullshit!

It's a club and we ain't in it.

So now that we know that, it's past time to form our own club. And I do believe that is beginning to happen at last.

across the country in anticipation of more civil unrest so they can be 'prepared' for it?

The only thing they fear, the corrupt Global Corps, is that the people will rise up en masse against their draconian policies, they expect it, they are prepared for it, they demonstrated it all over the Globe on OWS testing out for the time when the crowds are in the streets all over the world so they can be crushed.

The people need better strategy. Eg, since THEY went Global, now the people need to unite Globally and plan events like this in individual places and focus all the energy with protestors from around the world if possible, in one place and make it so big they cannot crush it and it scares them to death.

He is singularly responsible for the awakening of untold numbers of Americans to the way their government works, on Health Care, on War, on Wall Street. I have even met Republicans who have told me they had to admit, after watching his documentaries, especially on HC and Wall St, they were stunned at what they did not know.
