In the spirit of alleged "war on Christianity" and various types of holiday greetings threads I'll just post this story.

I live in a bible belt state where there are some people who are just rabid Christians. There are also some people in my workplace who are Iranian, Arab, and non-Arab Muslims. Several years ago one of the Iranian and one of the non-Arab Muslims decided to prank a known rabid Christian. At a conference, the non-Arab Muslim girl (who was raised all of her life as a Muslim) told Ms. Rabid that the Iranian Muslim co-worker had convinced her to convert to Islam. OMG you should have seen the fireworks as Ms. Rabid preceded to emphatically tell the girl that she was going to burn in hell and a lot worse stuff. Ms. Rabid is so out there that everyone just laughed, even a lot of the Christian co-workers because they knew what she was like. Ms. Rabid probably thought that she had a responsibility to try to "save" the girl. Fortunately, Ms. Rabid works in a different part of the state or she might have become a pain in the butt for the girl.

Rabid atheist, it's almost like damnyankee in the south, or the little boy who didn't find out his name wasn't Jesus Christ until he was eight years old.

Ha, that's funny.... Well until you think about what would happen to a girl who teased her parents that she converted to Christianity FROM Islam!
Yeah. Think about that before you tease a loud mouth Christian.... And yes, there's plenty of them. Plenty of loud mouth liberals too.

5. The funny thing about it is that the

Muslim co-worker who was supposed to have converted the girl was born Muslim but is the most non-practicing Muslim you could ever meet and is married to a Christian and has allowed all of his children to be raised Christian. This guy is just not a religious person. Anybody that knows the guy would have realized right off the bat that it was just a joke. The lady being pranked knows the guy too and should have known better but her brain just stopped working.

Edit to add that co-workers tended to prank the lady quite often, on numerous things because she was such an easy target. Apparently she never caught on and never learned.
