ignorant and downright cruel.

The truth about unemployment insurance is that the payments will cover your rent/mortgage and peanut butter and jelly for the kids but it doesn't cover a hell of a lot more than that. People have to go into bare subsistence mode and resign themselves to frequent calls from duns if they try to stay on it for more than a couple of months.

Right wingers are disgusting to suggest people aren't motivated to get off it and back to work as soon as they can find a job.
