This was a very, very passionate place where no one hesitated to colorfully speak his or her mind. I persevered though because I felt genuinely committed to the perspectives I wanted to promote. Slowly I started making connections with several people, and things became so much better. It will become so for you too if you stay. There are obviously many, many people who want you to.
