8 principles for Democrats on the "fiscal cliff" by Robert Reich c/o moveon

http://front.moveon.org/dear-democrats-please-stick-to-these-8-principles-from-robert-reich

Not bad, except for point 3

"Have Republicans vote for tax cuts just on the middle class"

Because that will be taken to mean - not progressive tax cuts, like I promote http://www.democraticunderground.com/10021894779

But rather it will be 78% of the Bush tax cuts, a proposal that heavily favors the rich http://www.democraticunderground.com/10021880321

"Under the 78% Bush tax cut plan, the top 1% gets over $40 billion a year in tax cuts. The top 4% get another $40 billion, for a total of $80 billion for the richest 5%. The richest 20% get $163 billion in tax cuts. The poorest 20% get only $14 billion in tax cuts."
