In all seriousness, why doesn't the media simply boycott republicans?

All they do is lie. Let them all go to their FOX bubble, while the rest of the world figures out domestic and global problems without them.

It's long overdue. Exclude them. Make them irrelevant. Quit giving them a platform to lie.

All of the networks and other cable channels ganging up on FOX would be kind of fun to watch, actually.

And yes, I know I'm being overly-simplistic. Let a guy dream, will ya?!

they're not "journalists" - they're employees that want to work. And to work they have to sell something - and 47% (no, not Mitt's 47% "slackers" - I mean the ones that voted for him!) are still potential customers.

So, you present one side - then the other. That's all - you're just presenting today's press releases - no fact checking, no background checks, no questions regarding possible "discrepancies," and by all means, NEVER question any of the BS that's presented or dare call a liar a liar!

Go back and read some Molly Ivins (Who Let the Dogs In? - 2004). She was one that called them as she saw them - and we miss her dearly!

And what the liars do and say sells.

Wanna make them irrelevant?
Stop giving the advertisements your eyeballs.
The only way it will change is if there is no market and sponsorship for the lies.

CNN? MSNBC? Bloggers? Corporate media? Internet media? Who should boycott Republicans?

I've always thought that continuing to include Fox faces made them relevant. They don't belong in the room with serious journalists. They're just models anyway...there to look pretty. "Smile, show some leg, that's right."

because the owners of the stations force them to, which I believe some recent journalists have quit because of this.

because their biggest advertisers (big corps with clear 1%er issues like Walmart, big pharma, etc) demand compliance with their agenda in order to receive advert income.

and lastly and least likely, imo, because the anchors hold a staunch republican view. I really don't think the average person you see talking on the tele actually has any decision making ability to what they are required to report on or say within those reports or interviews.

Just my opinion. I have no experience, nor anyone in the industry to yea or nay this concept's accuracy.
