This is not unusual for us, however. We can have a frost one day and be back into the 60 -70s the next. Pretty typical for the Gulf Coast. Would appreciate a little bit cooler for the holidays. Cool enough to have a fire in the fireplace, maybe?

It will be cold here in January/February. But no snow---ever. Flakes cause a major run on milk, bread and snacks at the grocery store. School lets our early. Hope springs eternal for enough snow to have a snowball fight or build a snow man. We don't even get enough to cover the grass.
