StarDate Magazine when I was a teen amateur astronomer? I remember getting packages from the McDonald Observatory when I lived in Austin in 1976-77. I remember it being a much-anticipated mailing but can't quite remember if it was StarDate. If StarDate has been around that long, then it probably was.

I've been thinking alot lately about taking up astronomy again since I'm a night owl anyways. Thank you for the post!
