Hey Democratic fundraisers

Leave me the fuck alone!
I gave what I could for over year in this election. It's over and we won.
The next election isn't for two years so GIVE ME A BREAK!!
Your calls are pissing me off, so just stop it for now.
We are exhausted, pestering will just make us less inclined to give you any more when you need it.

Note; this about Party fundraisers not the DU site.

just tell them you can't give right now...
or stop answering the phone when they call.

Why would you be pissed at democrats looking to get some help.
Just be polite and say "I can't give right now." That's not hard to do.

Let them know that you will stop giving to them if they don't leave you alone for a while. They want and need to know that they are pissing you off.

After the 2010 election I kept getting calls and told them to stop calling me for a while. The calls did stop after a couple of rounds of that and did not start back up until I went back onto some of the OFA sites in preparation for the 2012 election - in other words, until I signaled that I was again ready to contribute money or time.

They do want to know what they are doing that alienates their supporters. I'm not sure which state or local organizations might be calling, but I know OFA is good about removing people that ask to not be called. During the '08 campaign I took a lot of people off the lists so they wouldn't be disturbed.

If you make the effort to contact them and still get calls, it may be a scam.

and my point is I shouldn't be getting these calls at all.
Give everyone a friggin break. So many are fatigued after this election.
