What is wrong with Gmail?

I am faced with a dark screen that sends me to a new feature of simply composing mail.

I just want to send a simple e-mail but have no choice but to "GET IT."

I don't use a "mobile device." Mine is a simple pay as you go cell phone. So I have had to face all the obstacles when they just wanted me to give them my "mobile phone."

1. If you click on Get It

you should have the new little compose window on the bottom right of the screen. You should be able to write your email in there as before.

4. If you don't want to use the new compose

after you click on the Get it, which just means you get the idea of what's going on you don't download anything.

Click on the down arrow on the bottom right of the compose window next to the garbage can (More options) click on "switch back to old compose" and you should be able to go back to normal.

it has gone downhill.

8. Can you really get banned?

I have been using yahoo mail for 15 years now. Several months ago it was hacked, so I closed it and opened a new one and so far - fingers crossed - it is OK.

But a friend of mine gets his emails on his "mobile device" and he says that Gmail comes faster. And it was semi crucial last summer when I called his attention to an ongoing solar eclipse..

10. Switch back to old compose

If you click the arrow down next to the garbage can there is a option to switch back to the old compose format if you don't the new version.
