Yip, the Angus 2 1/2Men dude was at the Rethug convention, unsure about his future in politics

Now, to be clear, this says he "came with the Creative Coalition," not specifically that he had a partisan (lobbying for the arts) role, depending on what the Creative Coalition is. I should have Googled it first, but "coalition" sounds suspiciously (to me) Third Way. Will edit/update after teh goo-glay.

ON EDIT: O.K., it's a non-partisan deal, Wiki: "The Creative Coalition is a nonprofit, (501(c)(3)) nonpartisan, advocacy group formed of members of the American entertainment industry. The organization was founded in 1989 by Ron Silver.[1] Tim Daly serves as the organization's president.[2] Notable members have included Christopher Reeve, Ron Reagan, Blair Brown, Michael J. Fuchs, Alec Baldwin, Joe Pantoliano, and current president, Tim Daly. The coalition addresses both industry related issues, as well as general social issues. The group educates leaders in the arts community on issues of public importance, specifically in the areas of First Amendment rights, arts advocacy and public education.

The group has sponsored benefit galas at both Democratic and Republican conventions, raising nearly $1.8 million during the 2004 presidential campaign. However, it does not contribute to political campaigns directly. It employs lobbying firm Quinn Gillespie & Associates to advance its interest in Washington."

NOW, stories that TV’s highest-paid kid, Angus T. Jones, hates his “Two and a Half Men” show, which in year 10 either stars Charlie Sheen, of whom you may have heard, or Ashton Kutcher, of whom ex-wife Demi Moore is tired of hearing — depending on which rerun you’re watching. Three months ago, at Tampa’s Republican Convention, very upbeat Angus told me:

“I’m now 18, college-bound, but I’m off this week so I came with the Creative Coalition because I’m put to use. I talk to voters and say how beneficial the arts are. Not sure my future is in politics, but it’s interesting, and I’m learning.”

Looking slightly unfamiliar, he said: “That’s because my hair is now in a short buzz cut. And I’m wearing glasses. I can’t see. I’m almost legally blind, I’ve gotten used to not wearing them on the show because I can determine what I need to and we work it all out in rehearsal.”

Cheerful, positive, where . . . when . . . did Angus’ angst suddenly begin?

the Repubbies have made it plain over the last 12 years that they are about negativity, fear, anger, lies & FAIL.

America knows it, and that's why the Repubbies got their well-padded booties kicked in the election.

This kid does not have a clue, and so he MINGled with them in Tampa, and got infested a wicked-bad case of Repubbie.

He has my pity, as do all the poor dorks who have been SUCKERED by the Republican 1% Propaganda Machine, Inc.
