All the pain and none of the buzz - welcome to post-election governing reality....

I admit to being a poll junkie, to getting thrilled by Obama/Biden campaigning, the speeches, the outrage and nausea at the Mitt and Ayn show....the emotional roller coaster of the debates. Talking politics to friends and family, volunteering, spending lots of time looking for news on the web...

Gotta admit to a continuing let down since election day, watching the painful grind of trying to move this country forward, the Benghazi/Rice garbage being spewed by McCain and Graham et al, the occasional dearth of news (which gets filled by 24 hour news cycle nonsense).....combine that with the season, the longer days, colder nights -

It's a struggle and a slog, that's for sure. Not sure I have the stomach yet for all of this to-ing and fro-ing - Obama holds strong on the fiscal stuff...Obama is caving....the Dems are aligned...the Dems are fragmenting. Kind of like a bad tennis match, enabled of course by the hair trigger 1% bubble media.

Argggghhhh.... and yikes.

But, it's a beautiful Thursday morning here in Raleigh - gotta get off of this laptop and go and do something!
