So, just where does one apply to be a "political pundit"?

I'm referring to the nearly-perpetual "guests" or "panel members" who comment on all things political, thereby enriching the national discourse with their insight and expertise.

I used to think myself unqualified for such a career, but I've recently come to realize that there ARE no qualifications! Virtually ANYONE can handle this gig and I understand that the pay is somewhat above minimum wage.

Ed Rendell?

Harold Ford?

Peggy Noonan?

Eric Ericson?

I, too can speak somewhat clearly, memorize talking points and buzzwords and, when necessary---or, just to mess with people---I can pull facts out of my ass.

Where do I sign?

It is clear to me that an actual degree makes one overqualified.
