This is why I think stupidity should be painful...

Today I went to get my hair done. The girl who does my hair left the salon I've gone to for many years so I went to the new place she worked cuz I love her. She does wonderful things with color.

Anyway we're talking politics and she was talking about Citizens United and how we didn't really see the impact this election and what do I think will happen in 2016. I say I think it depends on who runs. If say Hillary decides to run, I think we'll be ok again. Well another girl that works there walked over and said she didn't think she-Hillary would run. Jenny (hairstylist) said after the break she just might. So the other girl, says 'I would definitely vote for Hillary, I love her' Jenny said she'd vote for Hillary too. I said I would as well.

Here's comes the stupid....

So the girl--Clarissa says you know who else I'd vote for--I already knew what was coming--you guessed she said, Sarah Palin. Well, Jenny and I actually sighed so loud Clarissa said yeah I get that a lot, but I watched her reality show and I saw a whole 'nother side to her. I sat there staring at her, I couldn't speak for a minute. Then I said you do realize that Hillary and Sarah are night and day, right? She said 'yes'. I said how could voted for someone that didn't line up with your beliefs, she said 'to get a woman in the White House' I looked at and said you realize that once you did that she'd start taking your rights as woman away, you know that right? Blank stare. Her next comment was I need someone that's military friendly.

Thank God my hair was done.

This is why stupidity should be painful.

It used to get you eaten, poisoned, tumbled down a cliff, knocked down, knocked up, clawed to death, etc. Now it just gets you on TV or in congress.
