Personally, I see the Susan Rice things as a witch hunt,especially since the GOP hates the fact that they have been run out of Massachusetts, despite running Mitt.
However, I do want to put up a question..if we do not put Rice up, is there anyone else that would make a good, LIBERAL, Secretary of State? I myself want Kerry to stay where he is, so that the Senate remains strong. I myself would like, and yes, this is a shocker, Dennis Kucinich, but I know he is a long shot.
So DU, is there anyone else YOU would pick?

Surely there are plenty of talented interesting souls who can converse, negotiate, schmooze, and get difficult things done that aren't connected to the political elite??
