Why was it okay for Cheney and company lie all the time on Meet the Press?

Sunday after Sunday in the lead up to the Iraq war Bush officials lied their asses off about the need to go to war in Iraq...they told us the intelligence said that Sadaam Hussein took part in 911, that he had nucleat weapons, etc...where was the media and GOP outrage back then. WHY IS IT OKAY FOR THE GOP TO LIE ON THE SUNDAY MORNING TALK SHOWS?

Perhaps you should call mccain's office and ask him why he does not call for an investigation into the lies of the bush administration
here is his number 202-224-2235
