...I must have seen a dozen talking heads and guests who were all so "troubled" by Gramps and Amb. Rice not making nice yesterday. I even heard it from my Senator Durbin. Seems that's replaced "concerned" as the buzz word to stir the pot on the cables. Troubled sounds so much more urgent and intense...so it must be serious. No??

Gramps is troubled that his days of being a power broker and "personality" inside the beltway is coming to an end. He'll lose his chairmanship in January and a good chance this is his last dance in the Senate. As his power wanes so does his "value" on being on the Sunday shows or being the "star" of whatever goofy show he's living in. His hatred and anger now drives him where his ego can't go...
