Hillary Clinton sounds alarm after Supreme Court hearing on emergency abortion care

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Wednesday warned access to abortion care could be further imperiled after oral arguments in a Supreme Court case over an Idaho law restricting abortion.

The court appeared skeptical over whether a federal law ensuring access to life-saving care included access to abortion care, when necessary, though the justices were split by both ideology and gender.

“The MAGA Supreme Court majority appears ready to rule that the right to ‘life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness’ doesn’t extend to women with pregnancy complications or who otherwise need abortions,” Clinton wrote on the social media platform X. “This is horrifying, and it is because of Donald Trump.”

Democrats have focused on abortion rights as a political rallying cry for the 2024 race. Abortion ballot measures are planned for multiple swing states, and a recent controversy over abortion access in Arizona has brought that state more into play.

Republicans ignoring the working/middle classes because beholden to wealthy donors and billionaires, oligarchs control everything and the only possible motivation for anything is money so who you vote for isn't important. The Both Sides religion that continues to harm democracy in the U.S. by discouraging voting for Democrats.

If a few women here or there will have to die in agony while waiting to be airlifted out of their red state for treatment of an acute ectopic pregnancy, well really that's a small price to pay for preserving the ideological purity of the 2016 Hillary haters.

Are we still blaming others for the fact that Hillary should have won but for the fact that she ran a terrible campaign? She was the more qualified candidate for sure but the Democratic machine blew it big time. As a side note: after Bernie Sanders ‘dropped out’ he held more campaign events for her than any person in her campaign.

Examples of real life people and what a return to Trumpist rule will make even worse.

"DO you want your daughter, wife or sister of child bearing age to end up like these poor souls?? All that will happen and worse if the Trump and the GOP...' etc.

Yes the more evil they are before the election, hopefully the better for decent people to get some control back and reverse course on this crap.

But meanwhile many people will suffer.

And I hope certain people in America wake the f*ck up and realize that they have problems here at home that need tending to. I am getting tired of a certain give-a-shit attitude until something whacks them in their own face, but now it is too late to do anything about it.

due to lack of an emergency abortion, the man who impregnated her should die as well. Let's level the playing field here. The woman was murdered in that case, no different as if the man was also murdered.
