6. The Ten Commandments are 70% worthless.

The first five are in direct conflict with the 1st Amendment. The one about adultery is a guide and rarely, if ever, enforced in advanced societies. The one about coveting would destroy capitalism if it were enforced.

That leaves three rules that are bare minimum standards that all societies have. 70% stupid is no moral guide for anyone with a brain. Or with real morals.

Far better to follow a code that conforms with actual morality and reality:

People are fallible. If one makes a mistake, one should do one's best to rectify it and resolve any harm that might have been caused.

Every tenet is a guiding principle designed to inspire nobility in action and thought. The spirit of compassion, wisdom, and justice should always prevail over the written or spoken word.
