cause so much trouble to the country.

In answer to your question, he went around telling Republicans that he was anointed by Ronald Reagan to never have taxes raised in the US, it would ruin the economy and cost jobs. He made up his pledge and had R's sign it saying they would never vote to raise taxes, I think they keep the huge signed copies on their walls in the offices in Congress. Yesterday I saw a clip where he gloated that he helped make sure George HW Bush did not get a second term as President because he allowed taxes to be raised.

In my eyes Norquist is a domestic terrorist. He has no credentials, no title, holds no office but has held these 'pledges' over people who should know better and screwed the US at the same time.

no one can make you feel bad without your permission. i'm baffled as to why this little lump of BS was handed so much power. i actually did an amazon search this morning to try to get it figured out.

i think domestic terrorist is an apt description. he needs to be neutralized and it looks like that may be in the works at long last.

contact who vets them and lets them known that money, including campaign money, can flow their way.

When Republican candidates want money, and jobs for their family members and others, he's the personal contact for them who can make things happen.

Grover Norquist sat on his throne
Grover thought the right wing was his own
But all of his huffing and all of his sass
Could not get the right wing to kiss his fat ass.

Are they in middle school?? This pitiful little drama can't and shouldn't be taken seriously by anyone. It's as absurd as wearing a purity ring. Grown adults in elected office have to make decisions based on reality and what's best for the country, not on some frat-boyesque meaningless token.

. . . that's exactly when he THOUGHT of the "Pledge" . . . as a 12 year old volunteering for Nixon.

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/11/20/us/politics/grover-norquist-author-of-antitax-pledge-faces-big-test.html

So doesn't it make you feel better knowing that supposedly professional representatives who live off of YOUR tax dollars kowtow to and base their economic acumen . . . on a 12 YEAR OLD's scribblings???

It's MSM spin. The Republicans are essentially offering a repackaged version of Romney's plan as a "compromise," and the idiots in the media are running with it and demanding bipartisanship.

There's a giant screwjob for middle America coming in the lame duck session.

I'm sorry I haven't kicked your toon round-up as much as I feel I should have in the past. I hope to remedy that in the future.

I also LOVE how you always post links to the other toons threads. I have used those links many, many times.

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!
