Donnie has a few buildings that aren't even his, he just licenses his name for it. And he owns a few like trump tower and mar-a-lago. Little more than any passive real estate investor. And tech building is full of disaster stories, everyone who lost money on the deal.

Other than that it's an image and scam factory.

His legacy is more like a trail of detritus.

Of course he knew. It's not a question of ignorance. It is a question of wilful ignoring. What is wilful ignoring? Have you ever heard local leaders say, that if we ignore the problem, the problem will just go away? Well, that's what Trump does, and has always done. He ignores the obstacles or rules that get in his way, and without any concerns, uses strategies that benefit his purposes. Like when he inflates his real estate prices when it suits him, and deflates them for the same reason. This strategy has worked for him this long, because he had enough money for lawyers to delay justice and justice just gave up.

For all those reasons, this time has to be different.
