As others have said, Trump doesn't stand for anything other than what will get him power. He certainly has opinions and attitudes. He is racist and misogynistic. He hates Black people and Women but will use either to gain power. Trump lacks any principles. He wants loyalty, but has no reciprocity.

Wondering about how and why he changes his views is an exercise in futility. In order to do that, you have to think that he actually has anything that he truly believes in. Other than himself and his power, he has nothing.
