(3,179 posts)Looking back on my life, I'm so very grateful for being lucky enough to have a father who always seemed able to soothe the hurts of my childhood by simply being the compassionate, loving and totally dedicated champion of my life. I believe the most important lesson my dad ever taught me is that no one has the right to judge another, ever. I'm not saying that I don't have lingering anxieties, as I'm sure most people do. I just hope that anyone in a situation, such as bullying, has at least one very dedicated champion in his/her life to help mitigate the pain.
Watching that video made me want to open my heart and arms to that beautiful young girl. I hope that one day she will know that those who subjected her to being bullied are the deficient ones. It's inexplicable to me that there are so many people who feel the need to make themselves appear superior to someone in order to feel good about themselves.
