Joe Lieberman died doing what he loved

Daily Trix @DailyTrix
Joe Lieberman died doing what he loved... trying to ratfuck the Democratic party.

New York Times Pitchbot @DougJBalloon
Out of respect for Joe Lieberman's family, the early runs of our obituary will downplay his killing of the Obamacare public option, warmongering in Iraq, championing of Betsy DeVos, lobbying for China's ZTE, and co-chairmanship of No Labels.

Not a fan of Lieberman. Traitor to the Democratic Party. Tool of wealth. Mistake as VP candidate in 2000. Co-founder of No Labels.

The man was actively working to advance the Christian Nationalist Evangelical party while claiming to be fighting anti-Semitism.

by enabling the stealing of the 2000 election, which led to the Christofascist Supreme Court we have today. He also contributed to the deaths of countless hundreds of thousands, including Americans who didn't get healthcare in time because this craven motherfucker killed the public option, as well as multitudes of innocent Iraqis maimed and slaughtered because bloodthirsty lying hawks like Lieberman wanted corporations to profit from war against a country that had done nothing to us.

by publicly saying they wouldn't contest overseas ballots. Here's specific information about what that piece-of-shit weasel did:

https://www.cnn.com/2015/11/02/politics/bush-gore-military-ballots/index.html

* * * * *

But when moderator Tim Russert pressed him on the issue Sunday morning, Lieberman publicly contradicted the Gore position.

“I would give the benefit of the doubt to ballots coming in from military personnel,” Lieberman said.

Gore loyalists watching at headquarters in Tallahassee exploded.

“I screamed some profanities,” Baldick recalled, upon watching Lieberman’s answer. “May have thrown some things. I was very upset.”

Gore himself chastised Lieberman after his “Meet the Press” appearance.

From active duty military, because they were postmarked a day late?

Ralph Nader won 97,488 votes in Florida.

I think its odd that you blame Leiberman, when the OBVIOUS reason for the loss was Nader.

It's very well deserved opprobrium.

Choosing Leiberman as VP candidate totally screwed the Dems and helped GWB get elected.
He did everything he could to help the repugs.
I remember him standing there at the VP debate agreeing with whatever scowling Dick Cheney said, creating a Tweedle Dum-Tweedle Dee scenario.
We all know both-sides-ism only benefits the bad actors.
Anyone who criticized him , he then labeled as anti-Semitic.
Leiberman was an absolute dick in every way.

Stinkweed and poison ivy will grow where they bury him.
