Copies of various Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant Bibles that vary. Along with various Jewish and Christian Apocrypha, Pseudepigrapha, Dead Sea Scroll translations and commentary books. Also, in addition, various Morman, Jewish, Islamic and Christian Sect books. Some date over a century.

I also have some that have been written in two languages, side by side.

None of them ever required me to spend more than $30 dollars. But as the Good Book says, a fool an their money...

When I was still playing I did summer band gigs. Hot and sticky and the pay was small but I was with my friends and it was fun BUT we always had to play that song. ALWAYS, it seemed to be beloved by the audience.

There is an orchestral version of Free Bird out now for clarinet. If you want to hear other versions that are not simple and actually quite cool go to Youtube and look up Robert Spring Free Bird. My friend that I mentioned above sat in the orchestra next to me and he practiced this for a long time before performing it. It is cool and obnoxious at the same time and puts to death the need of lyrics, lol. Sadly my friend passed away but this was the last thing that I remember that he was playing around.

I miss it all since I got sick and had to retire but the memories, oh so many and so much fun making them and playing them. Simple music with simple lyrics are just as important as any other kind.

I have lost track of what this started so I will stop now. Just old lady memories of the times that were the best of life.
