I rarely use facebook

but the couple of times I've recently logged in because I get an email alert that a "friend" posted an update it was in Chinese. Of course I deleted the email, but has anyone had a similar experience?

Did you click on anything in the post? If so, they have stolen your account and will use it to phish your contacts with the same garbage.

Go on your account right away and change your passwords.

I'll change my password and never log in again.
I've been deleting all "updates" and "shares" noticed in my email without clicking on the link.
People I care about know how to get in touch with me.
