I don't know what cover ups there were, if any, but Cannon's husband worked in Rosatti's business BurgerFi as an upper level manager. Rosatti is a member of the Colombo Crime Family. Rosatti is reported to be friends with Trump and made a campaign contribution. (What's a "Roman attorney"?) I don't like this connection, but it's kind of shadowy. I'll bet that Jack knows about this.

I think that for this to be significant in terms of getting the Judge recused, her husband would have to be a soldier in that Family. They way I understand it, nowadays you have to be White, well-connected or Rich, to get that status. Also, some part Sicilian. So, I can't see that being the case.
