Forgive me, but I'm no fan of the Twitter (Currently know as X) poster, ...

and I'm definitely not a fan of Pendej45, but here is a video of the "Boodbath" statement by Pendejo45 that puts it in context.

I'm posting this because we (DU) complain about how frustrating it is when the MSM, reports out of context. Then we tend to follow it, not know what exactly was said.

Please view the video and explain to me what you think the "Bloodbath" statement is about.

1. Trump knew eXACTLY how it would be interpreted. THAT IS THE POINT.

Please don't buy into or defend his tactics.

Sorry, but only the very naive' will fall for his "plausible deniability" idiocy.

It's about the impression and emotion that Trump's words create.

When we parse and explain and rationalize we are missing the big point. Trump's message was loud and clear.

Trump’s ramped-up rhetoric raises new concerns about violence and authoritarianism
Nov 13, 2023 6:35 PM EDT

...

Yes, so he — as I said, there's a two-part thing that authoritarians do.

First, they change the view of violence. And Mr. Trump, since 2015, he started saying at his rallies, using his rallies and campaign events for radicalizing people. And he started saying, oh, in the old days, you used to hurt people. The problem is, Americans don't hurt each other anymore.

So now he's going into a new phase of openly dehumanizing his targets so that will lessen the taboos in the future. And we see that, in 2025, he's got plans for mass deportations, mass imprisonments and giant camps. So you need people to be less sensitive about violence, either committing it themselves or tolerating it.

And I see that as his — the reason he's using this dehumanizing rhetoric now, to prepare people.

I knew that there was some sort of debate, but wasn't sure what it was about.

Gotta say this... A lot of folks point out signs that his mental state is slipping, including odd verbal confusions. Now we are treating him as though he is a mastermind propagandist. He could just be babbling.

Some nutjobs will interpret his statement as an invitation to violence. But I kind of doubt that it's a big number after Jan 6. MAGAts would like to scare us with the the potential for violence, but I don't think big numbers will have have the cojones to try anything.

From the beginning the trump-pets have said, "he is a straight talker, tells it like it is".

And from the beginning, there has been an industry explaining, interpreting, poo-pooing, and ignoring the clearly not straight nor intelligible words that that man talks.

11. It's a kind of condescension that we need to confront.

Ultimately, we are being condescending when we ignore what Trump and his followers are saying - loudly - and replace their words with euphemisms.

We need to stop this.

It is full of the cognitive dissonance trumpies all the way, with Elon Musk in there stirring the pot. I haven’t been on twitter in months.

So, on one hand—he’s was talking about the Auto-industry, yeah sure. On the other hand, it’s dangerous rhetoric using dangerous people. Fuck Trump, fuck his supporters, fuck his apologists. Trump is an absolute piece of shit who is supported and followed by the absolute worst of us.

There is a reason I call him Pendejo45 and that reason has not changed.

He may have used the word "bloodbath" in context of the auto industry as a metaphor for the election results or maybe since he's mentally impaired he just couldn't think of a better word to use, so his impaired mind ran with the violent rhetoric he loves to reference.
