Robert Greenwald on his experiences while filming victims of U.S. drones in Pakistan...

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/robert-greenwald/mr-president-how-do-you-d_b_2156517.html

"I have interviewed many people over the years of doing documentaries. Currently in Pakistan filming with victims of drone attacks, I have never had a more haunting and harrowing experience than looking into the eyes of person after person, children and adults, and hearing them talk about their homes, villages and families destroyed by drone attacks. The pain is palpable, their fear still radiates. And even a question about the CIA sets off terror alerts in peoples' eyes."

We are monsters.

3. Another tidbit from the article:

"Crucially, the threat of the “double tap” reportedly deters not only the spontaneous humanitarian instinct of neighbors and bystanders in the immediate vicinity of strikes, but also professional humanitarian workers providing emergency medical relief to the wounded."

but this is the exact thing we need to end now.

We need to tell Congress, This doesn't fit in our budget !

Cutting all drones overseas and here in the US is an appropriate and acceptable budget cut.

Those jackasses in Congress are killing people, they are making US look like Monsters, and we are if we don't stop them.

The drone program of target killings has been increased, expanded to more countries, and has the full support of the current administration.

The window to do something about the War Crimes of the Bush Administration
has been closed.

This is an extremely disturbing statement, that makes my pitiful letters and calls to my "representatives" about this and about drones seems wholly inadequate.

it is like we are in a "White Rose Society" moment without the direct interrogation and beheadings.

where do we go from here...

I truly don't know.
Simply electing "Democrats" is clearly not sufficient.

The only Democrat willing to publicly discuss the prosecution of War Crimes of the Bush Administration got "redistricted".
(A lesson for others who cause trouble?)

and

never stfu about "wrong" no matter who it is. If my mother is wrong, i'm calling her on it. Why would a president be any different?

The chances of that ever happening are zero.

but they still injure and kill too many innocent people and create too much fear to justify using them as much as we do.

It is pure speculation to say that our military operations in Pakistan make us safer. From the article: "America’s drone war 'radicalises foot soldiers, tribes and entire villages in our region.'” - Pakistan Ambassador to the United States Sherry Rehman, July 2012
