One of DU's finest moments in its entire history. I have been here since Day 1, hanging chads and all that crap. The very dark years of Iraqi war and then the swiftboating of John Kerry. The comeback year of 2006 and then grand elation in 2008. Disappointment in 2010, tea baggers???----WTF...
But in very late October, and I think sensing the victory that was to come, we lost our damn minds here for a second and it was great!!!

Yes, it did sorta get out of hand and pushed some very important Sandy threads down but I had such huge tears of joy in my eyes reading the posts/threads, some of which were really sheer genius. For a minute, the inmates DID take over the asylum and as they say, hilarity ensued...
This all happened on 10/28/12 and since WE DID WIN BIG ON 11/6/12, its all the more hilarious... (to me at least)
