4. not exactly. It was definitely talked about in the early reports.

He wanted to put in place a puppet government. And the reason why, is because he doesn't want a democratic form of government there. Now, if that is the issue, and it is, do you not see that there can be no other solution then to stop him, or to unconditionally surrender? I mean he will brutalize them one way or another assuming his military is not stopped.

The land borders will be decided later after he is in charge via his puppet government. There is no maybe or perhaps. This is why Ukraine has prepared for 10 years for this war knowing it was going to be all or nothing.

install a puppet government. He thinks that their democracy will be contagious and spread. Its a direct threat in his mind. He will never be satisfied with pieces of land on the eastern border. He had their government all picked out and ready to take over. It was only supposed to take 3 days. How will his tanks be stopped in your scenario. Ill let you go now.

At this point, the entire world pretty much know that any agreement he signs on to would then be as worthless and meritless as another Munich Agreement.
